Driver 2 tosses you into late-90s urban open-world action as undercover cop John Tanner. The PlayStation entry expands the original's car-focused thrills with bigger city maps, mission-based objectives and the novelty of exiting vehicles to explore on foot. Players chase suspects, ram rivals and master arcade-style handling across diverse districts while time pressures and police heat make each run tense. Aging visuals carry heavy nostalgia, but the challenge, soundtrack and chaotic traffic combat create a memorable, rough-and-ready driving experience for retro racing fans.
