Tập cuối cùng, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia, diễn ra vào năm 1918 khi Sát thủ Nikolaï Orelov phải hoàn thành một nhiệm vụ cuối cùng cho Hội Sát Thủ trước khi có thể rời đi cùng gia đình mình. Nhiệm vụ của anh: thâm nhập vào ngôi nhà nơi gia đình Sa hoàng đang bị lực lượng Bolshevik giam giữ và đánh cắp một cổ vật đã bị tranh giành suốt nhiều thế kỷ giữa Sát Thủ và Hiệp sĩ Dòng Đền. The Assassin’s Creed Chronicles saga brings the thrill of being a Master Assassin to 2.5D with standalone side-scroller gameplay. In each episode, players journey to distinct civilizations and time periods, making history in an Assassin’s Creed experience that provides unique setting, art style, story and Assassin character. For those who play them all, the three Assassin’s Creed Chronicles stories tie together narratively and contribute to the lore of Assassin’s Creed.
The final episode, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia, takes place in 1918 when Assassin Nikolaï Orelov must complete one last mission for the Assassin Order before he can leave with his family. His mission: infiltrate the house where the tsar’s family is being held by the Bolsheviks and steal an artifact that has been fought over by Assassins and Templars for centuries. While too late to save the tsar’s entire family, he manages to save the princess, Anastasia, whom he must protect as he escapes the Templars with her and the artifact in tow.
