KhoGameHub ("we", "us", or "our") operates the KhoGameHub website and mobile application — a retro game emulation platform. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of data when you use our services:

• Account Data: Email address, display name, and avatar when you register or sign in via Google, Facebook, or Microsoft.
• Game Activity: Play history, session duration, and game preferences stored to personalize your experience.
• Device & Technical Data: Device ID, IP address, operating system, and session logs used for security, anti-abuse, and service stability.
• Advertising Data: Advertising identifiers (GAID on Android) collected by Google AdMob to serve personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your consent. See Section 4.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Authenticate your account and maintain active sessions.
• Display your play history and community activity.
• Serve ads through Google AdMob to support the free service.
• Monitor platform health, detect abuse, and improve stability.
• Send service-related notifications (no marketing emails without consent).

3. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Google Sign-In & AdMob — authentication and advertising.
• Facebook Login & SDK — authentication and app analytics.
• Microsoft (Azure AD B2C) — authentication.
• Discord OAuth2 — authentication.
• TikTok SDK — app analytics.
• Cloudflare — DDoS protection and CDN; may process IP addresses.

KhoGameHub does not sell your personal data to any third party.

4. Advertising & Consent (GDPR / EEA)

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent before serving personalized ads.

• If you consent: ads are personalized based on your interests using cookies and advertising identifiers.
• If you decline: you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.

You can change your consent choice at any time in the app's Settings → Privacy.

5. Cookies

The KhoGameHub website uses essential cookies to maintain your login session and remember emulator preferences (key bindings, display settings). We do not use third-party tracking cookies on our web platform beyond those required by integrated SDKs (AdSense, Google Analytics).

6. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Play history and session logs are retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. Children's Privacy

KhoGameHub is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify inaccurate data.
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.

All data transmissions between your device and KhoGameHub servers are encrypted via TLS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We conduct periodic security reviews of our infrastructure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
