Devil May Cry 4 immerses players in a gothic supernatural world, where a new protagonist collides with a familiar hero. Taking on the role of Nero, players will unleash spectacular attacks and relentless combos through a new and unique gameplay mechanic – the powerful “Devil Bringer” arm.

On the coast of a distant land lies the castle town of Fortuna, home to a group known as the Order of the Sword, who practice a mysterious religion. They worship Sparda, the demon warrior they consider their god, who once fought to protect humanity, and they are dedicated to the extermination of all demons.
Nero, a young knight in the Order, is assigned to track down Dante, the mysterious assassin who murdered the leader of their organization. Meanwhile, demons begin appearing throughout the city, and Nero soon uncovers the truth behind Dante’s actions and the hidden intentions of the Order of the Sword.
