Henry Townshend finds himself imprisoned inside his cursed apartment. The only way to uncover the truth is by venturing through mysterious portals that lead to disturbing alternate worlds. This is the premise of Silent Hill 4: The Room, a more action-oriented installment in Konami’s survival horror series. The game features a larger variety of weapons and enemies compared to earlier titles, environments that change in real time, a mix of first- and third-person perspectives, and notable visual and control improvements built on the Silent Hill 3 engine. Locations players will explore include a forest, a prison, and a hotel. The game was also released on PlayStation 2 and Microsoft Xbox.
