Đây là phần tiếp theo của tựa game hành động lén lút đình đám Splinter Cell do Ubisoft phát triển.
Các nhà phát triển đã nâng tầm mọi yếu tố từ phiên bản gốc, đặc biệt là lối chơi dựa trên ánh sáng và bóng tối – đặc trưng làm nên thương hiệu của series.

Nhân vật chính Sam Fisher giờ đây sở hữu một loạt động tác mới, bao gồm khả năng leo cao hơn sau cú nhảy tách chân (split jump) và di chuyển kiểu SWAT qua khung cửa mở, cùng với chức năng phụ cho từng loại vũ khí. Bên cạnh đó, trò chơi còn giới thiệu nhiều thiết bị mới như chế độ nhìn đặc biệt, thiết bị sonar, cảm biến chuyển động, và chế độ bắn phụ cho vũ khí.

Tuy nhiên, nâng cấp lớn nhất nằm ở chế độ chơi mạng nhiều người, nơi người chơi được chia thành hai phe: điệp viên và lính đánh thuê – mỗi bên đều có trang bị, kỹ năng và mục tiêu riêng biệt, mang đến trải nghiệm cạnh tranh độc đáo chưa từng có trong dòng game.

This is the sequel to Ubisoft’s original Splinter Cell stealth action hit.
The developers aimed to take the light-and-shadow-based gameplay from the original and upgrade every aspect of it.

Lead character Sam Fisher now has an expanded move set, including the ability to climb higher after a split jump and perform a SWAT move across open doorways, while weapons now feature secondary functions.

There are also many new gadgets, such as new vision modes, sonar devices, motion sensors, and secondary fire modes for his weapons.

But the biggest upgrade comes in the form of a multiplayer mode that divides players into two teams: spies and mercenaries, each equipped with unique gear, abilities, and objectives, offering a one-of-a-kind competitive experience in the Splinter Cell universe.
