Description

Crossed Swords 2 continues the Neo Geo’s medieval swordplay tradition with arcade-friendly, front-on action that pits a lone warrior against waves of armored foes and towering bosses. Players time parries, thrusts, and special attacks as rooms of enemies and traps demand pattern recognition and reflexes. The sequel sharpens the original’s balance with denser enemy formations, more brutal boss encounters, and chunky sprite work that evokes mid-90s arcade floors. It’s a tense, fast-paced beat-down that rewards patient timing and memorization, offering a satisfying old-school challenge for retro enthusiasts drawn to difficult, skill-based combat.

💾 Save & Load Guide

Don't lose your progress! You have two ways to manage your game states:

  • Auto-Save (Browser Storage): By default, your progress is automatically saved to your browser's local storage. You can pick up right where you left off the next time you visit, provided you do not clear your browser cache.
  • Manual Save/Load (Export to File): For maximum safety and playing across different devices, you can export your save data:
    1. Open the Settings Menu in the emulator.
    2. Select "Save State" to download your progress as a file (usually .txt or .state) to your device.
    3. To resume, simply use "Load State" and select that file to continue playing.

⚠️ Note: We highly recommend exporting your save file frequently to avoid losing data due to browser updates or accidental cache clearing.
