Description

Castlevania: Dracula X on the SNES condenses the series' gothic action into tightly designed side-scrolling stages. Players control a whip-wielding hero through moody 16-bit castles, using sub-weapons, precise jumps, and timed platforming to reach brutal boss encounters. Levels are shorter than some entries but demand memorization and reflexes, with striking sprite work and a dramatic soundtrack that evoke mid-'90s console nostalgia. The game emphasizes challenge over exploration, rewarding skillful play and pattern recognition. It's a compact, high-difficulty Castlevania experience that appeals to fans of classic platformers and memorable boss fights.

💾 Save & Load Guide

Don't lose your progress! You have two ways to manage your game states:

  • Auto-Save (Browser Storage): By default, your progress is automatically saved to your browser's local storage. You can pick up right where you left off the next time you visit, provided you do not clear your browser cache.
  • Manual Save/Load (Export to File): For maximum safety and playing across different devices, you can export your save data:
    1. Open the Settings Menu in the emulator.
    2. Select "Save State" to download your progress as a file (usually .txt or .state) to your device.
    3. To resume, simply use "Load State" and select that file to continue playing.

⚠️ Note: We highly recommend exporting your save file frequently to avoid losing data due to browser updates or accidental cache clearing.
